Media-Assisted Product and Process Requirements Traceability in Supply Chains
نویسندگان
چکیده
Requirements engineering for technical systems involves an intricate interplay of conceptual synthesis of alternative requirements and design configurations, preliminary impact analysis of these alternatives using complex simulations and multimedia visualizations, and human decision-making based on goal trade-offs. Requirements traceability in such settings must be both productand process-oriented: it must enable an efficient media-based comparison of product alternatives from the current project or related experiences, and it must facilitate reuse of analysis process experiences to avoid unnecessary repetition of negative experiences. We study these problems in a large interdisciplinary project whose aim it is to optimize the innovation supply chains linking chemical engineering, plastics engineering, and application goals e.g. in the automotive industry.

Certification of Markets, Markets of Certificates: Tracing Sustainability in Global Agro-Food Value Chains
There is a blossoming of voluntary certification initiatives for sustainable agro-food products and production processes. With these certification initiatives come traceability in supply chains, to guarantee the sustainability of the products consumed. No systematic analysis exists of traceability systems for sustainability in agro-food supply chains. Hence, the purpose of this article is to an...
متن کاملOn the Bullwhip Effect Measure in Supply Chains with VAR (1) Demand Process
In this paper, a two-echelon supply chain, which includes two products based on the following considerations, has been studied and the bullwhip effect is quantified. Providing a measure for bullwhip effect that enables us to analyze and reduce this phenomenon in supply chains with two products is the basic purpose of this paper. Demand of products is presented by the first order vector autoregr...
متن کاملOntoPedigree: Modelling pedigrees for traceability in supply chains
The sharing of product and process information plays a central role in coordinating supply chains operations and is a key driver for their success. “Linked pedigrees” linked datasets, that encapsulate event based traceability information of artifacts as they move along the supply chain, provide a scalable mechanism to record and facilitate the sharing of track and trace knowledge among supply c...
متن کاملMeasuring and Analyzing the Bullwhip Effect in a Two-Product and Two Echelon Supply Chain Using Control Theory Approach
Coordination is very important in supply chain management and it is one of the main factors in supply chain profitability. Bullwhip effect is one of the basic obstacles to achieve coordination in supply chains and reduction of this phenomenon has an important role in supply chain harmony. The other side, costs of supply chain can be mitigated and customer service level can be increased by reduc...
متن کاملTowards Event-Based Traceability in Provenance-Aware Supply Chains
The sharing of product information plays a central role in coordinating the actions and decisions undertaken by supply chain trading partners. The Electronic Product Code Information Service (EPCIS) is an EPCglobal standard, that aims to enable the sharing of serial-level product related information via the Electronic Product Code (EPC). Central to the EPCIS data model are events that describe ...
